LOCAL/FEDERAL/STATE LAWS

Due to the different laws that every country, state, local goverment may have it is up to the customer to determine if our products are legal in your area. Coolingmist products are sold as off road use only. Any other use or installation of this product where it is not street legal is the solely your responsibility. It is up to the customer or buyer to know what aftermarket products are legal or not legal in your government and as the buyer you are fully responsible. Coolingmist products are designed to help racers make more power at the track, driving over the speed limit is illegal in every state. You must obey all state, local and federal laws of your country.

METHANOL/ALCOHOL MIXTURE

Our kits are sold and designed with the intent to run a maximum of 50% methanol. A 50/50 mix of methanol/water is ideal. You can run 100% water or any mixture of methanol up to 50%. 100% methanol is extremely flammable and unsafe unless in a controlled environment. Our parts are compatible with methanol however our flow sensor needs a minimum of 50% water to read correct and to keep the flow sensor within the proper heat range. Running high concentrations of methanol within the flow sensor will eventually damage the sensor due to methanols low boiling point. The water soaks up the heat in the sensor and keeps the bearings cool. Water plays a key role in cooling your vehicle and enhancing performance. You can also run a mixture of denatured alcohol (ethanol) and water. Never, ever run any type of hydrocarbon such as gasoline, oil or lube through the system.
